School Games Gold Mark Award

We are delighted to announce that we have achieved the School Games Gold Mark Award for the 2025/26 academic year.

The School Games Mark is a government-led award scheme, launched in 2012 and facilitated by the Youth Sport Trust. It recognises schools for their commitment to developing competition, participation and sporting opportunities for pupils both within school and in the wider community.

We are incredibly proud to have been recognised for our achievements and for the dedication shown by our children throughout the year. Our pupils have embraced a wide range of sporting opportunities, representing the school in local inter-school competitions and demonstrating fantastic teamwork, enthusiasm and sportsmanship.

A special thank you goes to Miss Holdsworth and Thrive, who have played a key role in developing sport across our school and creating exciting opportunities for our children to participate, compete and enjoy a wide range of sporting activities.

We would also like to thank our children, staff, parents and everyone who has supported sport at our school this year. Your continued encouragement and enthusiasm have helped make our sporting opportunities such a success.

We look forward to continuing to develop sport across our school and applying for the School Games Gold Mark again in 2027!
